Who We Are

Surrounded by Nothing, yet Everything

Sitting on a mountain hill in the bottom of a valley carved by glacier during ice-age, Hidden Cottages, luxury cottages, have been there for a long time. Through the years, they have been housing skiers traveling through air in winter and hikers in summer. These secluded cottages are build with wall-high glasses for absolute intake of the view around, and are all cottages with hot tub. They are situated in a northern fjord, at the Troll Peninsula, in a location that is not well known and therefore the surrounding nature is untouched and breathtaking no matter the season.

We are eager to promote Iceland's best features in the North: Nature, Secret Places and Experiences.

"We arrived in the evening, driving through clouds unable to see anything. We awoke to find we were surrounded 360 degrees by gorgeous mountains! We were awed!It was a bit of a drive on a dirt road but well worth it. The house was great. As described. The hot tub was an added treat. Lots of hiking and waterfalls everywhere too! "What a beautiful property surrounded by mountains and a small waterfall. We were pleasantly surprised by the side of the cottage, it was much bigger than we expected. The front porch area was all glass windows and doors with amazing views and a hot tub and there was a deck with a grill as well. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a waffle maker. This was my kids' favorite place, they loved the hot tub (no jets), the soccer field and small playground outside as well as walking up the hill near the waterfall. The lollipops on their pillows were also a great surprised for them. :) It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay."

"We fell in love with this place. It’s a bit remote but at the same time not far from small fiords’ towns. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. The house is clean, warm, and comfortable - the ideal size for the 4 of us. Nice, well stocked kitchen with a fridge+freezer, hot-tub. We were welcomed with some wine which was greatly appreciated. We went hiking one day and gathered some blueberries and made a blueberry cake."
